University Autonomy in Europe

The European University Association (EUA) is the representative organisation of universities and national rectors’ conferences in 47 European countries. EUA plays a crucial role in the Bologna Process and in influencing EU and national policies on higher education, research and innovation.

For a study on the autonomy of universities, EUA collected survey data about higher-educational systems in 26 European countries, that were compiled into an extensive report. Berlin-based design agency Raureif was asked to create the accompanying website for the report, with a strong focus on the accessibility of the report data. For this project, I created several Flash-based modules that display the survey data in interactive infographics.
