Client: The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, Geneva
The Global Fund is an international financing institution headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland. Its mission is to collect funding from public and private donors that are invested in programs to prevent and treat HIV and AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria. With an approved funding of USD 21.7 billion, the Global Fund is the world's largest funding body of anti-AIDS/HIV, TB and malaria programs.
On the occasion of World AIDS Day 2010, the Gobal Fund organized a photo competition to portrait the people who work in the supported programs around the world. For the final exhibition of a selection of the numerous contributions, I was asked to develop an interactive application that showcases the exhibits in a playful way and allows the user to browse the photos by topic or location.
