During a semester course that dealt with free design projects around the topic of water, I created a concept for a tourist guide to Berlin from the perspective of water tourists.The city of Berlin, along with the surrounding state of Brandenburg, is crisscrossed by an extensive network of lakes, rivers and canals that can be cruised by rental house boats, private vessels and yachts. For a while now, water tourism is actively supported and developed by local authorities to offer individual travel experiences and boost the important economic sector of tourism. My concept aims at these water tourists who travel and explore the city from the water-side perspective.
